Welcome to Our Daycare

For The Kids Daycare is located in a quiet rural area of East Kelowna, 15 minutes from downtown. Our 3000 sq. foot secure, outdoor play area is situated among orchards, forest, and pastures. Your child has fresh air and a healthy environment every day. Our 1700 sq foot facility is a purpose-built centre designed as a daycare with little people in mind, meeting or exceeding the standards set by B.C. Licensing. We work closely with Interior Health as a licensed group daycare.

• Infant & Toddler Programs - Children Ages 3 months to 3 years
• Daycare & Preschool Programs - Children ages 2.5 years to 5 years
• Kindercare Program - Children ages 5 to 6 years

Daycare Hours

For The Kids Infant Care Center hours 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm.

For the Kids Daycare Center hours: 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Monday to Friday except all stat holidays and one week at Christmas (including Boxing Day and Christmas Day)

Infant/Toddler (0-3 years old) daycare spots available in brand new on-site facility for Sept 2009! Call for more information or use our enrollment form. We are also taking registration for our Three to Five Daycare Program and our Preschool Program.

"It was my pleasure to work with Heather on the PALS (Parents as Literacy Supporters) program at South Kelowna Elementary. Heather coordinated two activity sessions for preschool children and thier parents, one with rhyming activities and the other with the alphabet.

It is evident that Heather has a strong commitment to early literacy and incorporates many of these strategies in her everyday planning with her daycare children. They are introduced to many phonemic awareness rhymes, stories and activities that help build thier reading readiness in fun and interactive ways. This exposure to phonemic awareness learning definitely helps the children transition to our Kindergarten program more successfully.
