The Infant and Toddler Team

Heather has been working in the field of Early Childhood for 27 years and has been running her own center for 14 years. Coming from a large family she always knew she wanted to work with children. She took her E.C.E. at Cariboo College in Kamloops in 1992. Once she opened "For The Kids Daycare" she went back to Okanagan College where she received her Infant and Toddler Certificate. Working with children continues to be more rewarding than she could ever have imagined. She is now having grown,young adults approach her asking if she remembers them from when they attended her center and it brings back such great memories! 

Roxanne came to us as a practicum student and has been with us since she graduated her Early Childhood Education Program in 2002 . She continued on with her education while working with us, taking her Infant and Toddler Cerificate through O.C's evening courses and is now our Supervisor in the Green Infant and Toddler Room.  She is well loved by our children, parents and staff. Roxanne's love of children and pride in her work show up in everything she does.  

Violet also came to us as a practicum student and has continued to work for us since graduating from her E.C.E Program through correspondence in 2008. Violet has been a welcomed calm, amongst our busy days. Her kind and soft demeanor brings great enjoyment to our children. Her love of arts spills over to into wonderfull experiences for our children.  

Sandra origionally came to us as a practicum student. She continued to work for us as a substitute and as an out of school caregiver for a summer while she continued her education. Once she graduated her E.C.E. Program she went to work with children with special needs and is now joining our team. We are very excited about having Sandi back! 

Kate has run a family daycare for years in the Lower Mainland and came to us when she moved to Kelowna. She has been taking her Early Childhood Education through correspondence with straight "A's" and now has her Assistant License to Practice. Kate is a constant calm in our busy days and her years of experience show up daily when working with our children.  Kate is our organizer and keeps things running smoothly.
